Evaluation
In this evaluation I will attempt to criticise my own work
with the prospect of improvement. With
this collage I used a variety of different tools on Photoshop such as rubber,
snipping, magic wand, blending tool, cut, paste, scaling, copy and filter with the
mixture of these tools it allowed me to complete a collage to my standards all
together it took about 3 days to complete all the research and complete the
collage. The changes I made to develop the idea went from blending loads of
relevant images together to mapping them out along a path then blending them to
represent a visual path I took and it blended well. I printed out each step of
the collage up to my final piece. When I did the artist research it started as
looking for photographers shooting from a certain angle but as my research for
a photographer progressed I ended up doing research on four artist totally
unrelated that inspired me and pushed me forward to do my final idea. At the
end of my development and workings I found that I looked back at my work and
was happy with it although there are a couple of things I would like to change
such as the blending I would have liked to do a bit more on that and maybe a
wider range of images but over all I like the piece.
